Dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu has set a new record for FLOPS!
The Pahotera singer failed to attract even a single fan, which sent him packing when all hope seemed lost over the weekend at the Big Apple Night Club in Harare.
Tryson's monumental flop that beat the record previously set by Calisto 'Pop Star' Nyamhute of the Special Meat fame who once attracted two fans to one of his Rusape shows.
Chimbetu's flop has since become 'mother' of all flops, a world record. His band briefly played for 'chairs' until all hope was lost and they packed their instruments for the day.
Though some would like to believe that the Pahotera singe was a victim of ongoing FIFA World Cup fever, his loyalists could have supported him.
The other factor that could have contributed to the humanitarian is that the same night, about a kilometre away, there was another event, a bigger one for that matter, the Miss Zimbabwe ceremony where a number of musicians including his cousin Sulumani Chimbetu, his mentor Alick Macheso and Jah Prayzah were performing.
