Hie Aunty Lisa
I am seeing a guy with whom I get along with extremely well.
We have lots of interests in common, really good conversations and make each other laugh. And I find him physically very attractive – except for one fatal flaw.
The guy has incredibly bad breath. It’s worst in the mornings – as to be expected – and after eating. But even just in general, it is so unpleasant I will wriggle out of kisses and always turn my face away when we’re having se_x.
It’s beyond the point of usual bad breath – only partially masked by gum or breath spray. I wonder if he’s not cleaning his teeth properly, brushing his tongue, roof of mouth and cheeks as well as teeth.
No-one likes uncomfortable conversations but sometimes they just need to be had.
I’ve told him I don’t like ki_ssing but that is a lie. Everything else about him is so perfect that I’m cross that this could prove our undoing when it’s something so, presumably, fixable. How on Earth do I bring this up with him? Help!
