A Kwekwe man died upon admission at Kwekwe General Hospital after being stabbed by three suspects as he tried to restrain them from assaulting a drinking mate.
Misheck Makuvaza (25) died upon admission at Kwekwe General Hospital after he tried to restrain the trio from assaulting one Isaac Simango (42) during a beer drinking spree.
Police in Kwekwe are now hunting for the three suspects, Dunmore Mhosva, Dingani Bhamala and Shelton Mapholisa all from Big Boom Mine in Kwekwe.
Through their official twitter page, police confirmed the incident which took place at Big Boom Mine last Friday.
“The ZRP is investigating a murder case which occurred at Big Boom Mine, Kwekwe, where Misheck Makuvaza (25) was assaulted by three suspects only known as Dunmore Mhosva, Dingani Bhamala and Shelton Mapolisa, after he tried to restrain the suspects from assaulting Isaac Simango (42), at a beer binge,” said police.
“One of the suspects drew a knife from his pockets and stabbed the victim once on the left thigh. The victim was taken to Kwekwe General Hospital, where he died upon admission,” said police.
