TAURAI Kudyamusumo from Old Lobengula suburb in Bulawayo is a troubled man because his ex-lover Lisa Ncube is in the habit of frequenting his workplace to verbally and physically abuse him as punishment for refusing to reconcile with her.
In his application for a protection order at the Western Commonage Court Taurai claimed that whenever he ignored her calls, Lisa would come to his workplace to harass him.
He said she would also demand money and force him to resurrect their love affair.
“I’m applying for a protection order against Lisa Ncube. She is tormenting me as she comes to my workplace and hurls insults at me.
“She would ask for money and when I tell her that I don’t have it, she would thrash me with a rope. She even comes to my home at night to harass me. I pray that this court grants me a protection order so that
I lead a peaceful life,” begged Taurai in his application.
He said whenever he turned down her requests she would turn violent before charging at him and grabbing him by his neck and his manhood bashing him.
He further said when Lisa came to his house at night she would scale over the pre-cast wall and head to his room where she would bang on the door while demanding that he should come out.
When he opens the door she would push him inside the house and demand to sleep with him.
In response Lisa didn’t refute her ex-lover’s claims leading presiding magistrate Jeconia Prince Ncube to grant the protection order in Taurai’s favour.
The magistrate barred Lisa from visiting Taurai either at his workplace or at his home.
Lisa was also ordered not to insult or beat up Taurai.
