HORROR: Khanye bashes friend to death for vomiting on him

A man from Bulawayo’s Nkulumane suburb died of chest pains which he sustained when he was allegedly beaten by his drinking mate as punishment for vomiting on him.

The incident happened in Nkulumane suburb and was confirmed by Bulawayo acting police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele.

Asst Insp Msebele discouraged members of the public from resorting to violence whenever they were faced with a dispute.

“Violence has never been a solution to any sort of a problem. We urge members of the public to engage pastors, friends, local leaders or police so as to solve their problems amicably rather than opting for violence,” she said.

A source close to the incident told B-Metro that Organise Thandazani Khanye (41) spent the day boozing with John Dube.

At around 6pm they left for home and along the way Dube started vomiting and in the process he accidentally vomited on Khanye.

Khanye became angry as he accused his drinking partner of deliberately vomiting on him.
The two exchanged harsh words and the verbal war degenerated into a fist fight.

“They exchanged blows but Khanye was too fast for him. Dube lost balance and fell to the ground. Khanye who was seething with anger punched him and kicked him while he lay on the ground. As a result of that Dube started breathing with difficulty,” said the source.

A neighbour who witnessed the fistfight reported the incident to the police and rushed Dube to Mpilo Central Hospital for medical attention.

Dube, who was treated and discharged on Friday last week, was complaining of chest pains.

His condition deteriorated and he was rushed again to hospital where he died upon arrival.
