A 24-year-old man died on the spot, while two others sustained injuries in Mainway Meadows, Waterfalls, after the wall of a house they were renovating fell on them.
In a statement on Thursday, Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the incident: “The ZRP reports a sad incident which occurred in Mainway Meadows, Waterfalls, on January 17, 2023, where a man (24) died on the spot while his two assistants, aged 31 and 24 years, were seriously injured after the wall of a house which they were renovating fell on them, resulting in the victims getting trapped.”
