A KAMBUZUMA woman yesterday sought a peace order against her neighbour accusing her of wrecking her mɑrriɑgǝ.
Thelma Maruta said her neighbour, Princess Marufu, sends r0mant!c messages to her husbɑnd and also accused her of wrecking her marriage.
“She must stop whatever business she is doing with my husbɑnd. Muvakidzani rudzii asina nyadzi.
“Ever since she started having an ɑffa!r with my husbɑnd, there has been no peace in my home. My husbɑnd no longer takes care of his family because of her,” Thelma said.
In her defence, Princess disputed Thelma’s testimony and told the court she never had an ɑffa!r with her neighbour’s husbɑnd.
“Your Worship, I am sh0cked she applied for peace order against me. Hameno kuti wakagumbukeyi amai awa. I have no business with her husbɑnd, but we just greet each other as neighbours. I have my own family and I am happily mɑrriǝd.
“I challenge her to show the court evidence that I slǝpt with her husbɑnd or that I have an ɑffa!r with him,” said Princess.
In her ruling, magistrate Tamara Chibindi dismissed Thelma’s application, and said her husbɑnd is not a child to be ordered around.
