Strive Masiyiwa to become Zim President in 2018, prophets confirm: Wikileaks says he masterminded 2009 GNU

Econet Wireless founder and Executive Chairman, Dr Strive Masiyiwa is reportedly the next in line for the most powerful position in Zimbabwean politics.

A source close to the internationally recognised Businessman and Philanthropist who is a humble, God-fearing billionaire alleges that Masiyiwa has ‘received’ this call numerous times from God though he has kept quiet about this calling. It’s reported that a number of Men of God have given him this message from God and he himself confirmed hearing this from God.

“Strive has been fighting the call from God silently but I think just like the Biblical Jonah, the issue is now getting to him,” said the mole who is very close to Dr Masiyiwa.

Over the past 2 years, several prophets and Men of God and even fortune tellers have predicted that Zimbabwe’s 2018 Presidential elections winner will neither be a Zanu PF nor an MDC principal, but an individual who is currently based in diaspora.

In July last year, United Family International Church (Ufic) leader, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, pulled a shocker by wading into the then raging Zanu PF succession storm, declaring that the 2018 elections would be won by a Zimbabwean presently based in the Diaspora. Makandiwa told his congregants that he was “seeing a person coming from outside, who was running towards the people of Zimbabwe”.

“This person is running in the opposite direction to people, who are running towards him, I see a spider and this spider is following this person, who is the chosen one to lead the people,” he said.

To prove that the person Prophet Makandiwa was referring to, wasn’t a member of neither Zanu PF or MDC, the former AFM preacher said if that person were to join a reputable opposition when he returns to Zimbabwe, he would certainly win 2018 elections. Most people believed the prophecy was talking about Strive Masiyiwa, who also owns Kwese TV, Steward Bank and was once an MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s personal advisor up to quite recently.

In May this year, revered Prophet, Madzibaba Wimbo, apparently completely ruled out any of the Zanu PF leaders from leading the country after next year’s elections. The mysterious Madzibaba Wimbo is the same prophet who reportedly accurately predicted in 1957 that Mugabe whose second name is Gabriel would rule Zimbabwe in the post independence era for over 20 years.

In May this year, the elderly man of God, who is turning 95 in three weeks time on the Christmas day, apparently prophesied earlier this year that a new leader would emerge in Zimbabwe after next year’s eagerly-anticipated national elections.

“He has made another prophesy that a new leader will emerge next year, but did not give names. However, he said the new leader is not among the current favourites who are engaged in Zanu PF’s succession battles, but is an outsider,” one of the sources at the secretive church said.

The Daily News, reported that a close mole within Madzibaba Wimbo’s church said the man of God had prophesied that the the winner of the next elections will have a foreign name. Interestingly, the Daily News published the article on 24 July last year, and in the article, the revered prophet is said to have accurately predicted that the military would intervene in Zimbabwean politics.

“The prophet said the person who will next lead Zimbabwe will have a ‘foreign name’ and that there will be great suffering in the country for some months. He also predicted that the army will intervene in politics,” the first source claimed.

Dr Strive Masiyiwa added sparked speculation when he ended his Facebook post on 22 December last year with the following statement: “Meanwhile, I’ve delayed my special announcement until January. This one will blow you away… Dont try and speculate on what it might be; you’ll just end up feeding the fake news hucksters. Just wait for it, and be prepared.”

Although early this year, three months later, Masiyiwa was quick to point out that he was not interested in politics, “not in the past, not now, and not in the future”, however, those close to him have already highlighted that he has been trying to ignore God’s calling which has been delivered to him by nearly countless prophets and pastors, and that he has already played various political roles which have benefited millions of Zimbabweans even to this day.

According to Wikileaks, an international whistle blower that exposes governments top secrets, the Econet founder was the one who floated the idea of a Government of National Unity. According to the leaks, Strive Masiyiwa briefed Pretoria PolCounselor and Harare PolEcon chief on August 7, 2007, on ZANU-PF-MDC negotiations.

Below is an except of the summary of the cable:

The WikiLeaks documents revile that Masiyiwa is quietly floating an idea to shift executive power from President Mugabe to a “technocratic” Prime Minister. To get Mugabe to accept the deal, Mugabe would remain President until 2010 with some power over the security apparatus, but the Prime Minister would run the economy and get the country back on its feet. All parties would work together to draft a new constitution.

Masiyiwa was open to ideas on who best to sell the plan, but suggested new UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, working through an envoy like former Malaysian PM Mahathir, as possible mediators. We cannot comment on the merits of the plan, but find it encouraging that senior Zimbabwean exile businessmen are discussing solutions to their country’s political and economic crisis. Embassy Harare notes that the concept is increasingly in circulation in Harare and may not require outside intervention.

According to the draft by Masiyiwa, Mugabe gets the extension of his presidential term to 2010, but would share power with a “technocratic” Prime Minister during the 2007-10 period. The PM would have to be acceptable to 85 percent of the parliament, thus requiring opposition MDC support, and could only be removed by an 85 percent vote in parliament. – Source: My Zimbabwe News
