LATEST: Nelson Chamisa charms former war veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda, Zanu PF in trouble


MDC-T president Nelson Chamisa visited former Zimbabwe National Liberation War veterans Association (ZNLWVA) leader Jabulani Sibanda at his Nkulumane residency in Bulawayo on Saturday.

MDC-T supporters have applauded him for extending an olive branch and reaching out to Sibanda.

Addressing thousands of people at White City Stadium who attended an MDC Alliance election rally on Saturday, Chamisa reiterated that he is willing to work with all people that want a truly democratic state in Zimbabwe.

He told the excited crowd that he wanted to work with all progressive forces in order to unseat Zanu PF and bring change in Zimbabwe.

Chamisa said the MDC Alliance “will address many issues as soon as it is elected including devolution of power to provinces, the installation of a Ndebele king and other issues. We will do what people want as the state is now there to impose its beliefs on people.”

Soon after meeting Sibanda, Chamisa’s presidential spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka wrote on his Facebook page,

Meeting with former Zimbabwe National War Veterans chairman Jabulani Sibanda at his home in Nkulumane on Saturday. In this election, JB’s war cry is “Chamisa chete chete.”
