Controversial Kwekwe clergyman Archbishop Kandrose Mugabe has won the race to represent Zanu PF in Kwekwe Central parliamentary seat in the forthcoming harmonised elections.
Mugabe who is a businessman, miner and an archbishop at his Zvipo ZveMweya church during primary election campaigns promised to pay rentals for all residents staying in Globe and Phoenix and BD mining compounds in the Midlands mining town.
Mugabe took time to thank his supporters after winning primaries and warned MDC of what is coming:
I want to be thankful to all the residents of Kwekwe Central Constituency who voted me to win resoundingly in all wards in Zanu PF Primary Elections. Ndinoti ngatiitei the same paGeneral Election, torakasha maChinja ose paBallot munaJuly. Thank you very much Kwekweans!
In another poll former CIO director of security Albert Miles Ngulube won in Beitbridge East.
