The Zanu PF National Chairperson, Cde Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri has handed over campaign vehicles to the party’s provincial chairpersons and administrative districts.
Speaking during the handover ceremony at the party’s headquarters in Harare today, Cde Muchinguri Kashiri made it clear that the vehicles are for party business and not for personal use.
“As I am giving you these keys, let me tell all of you that the vehicles are for the conduct of party business. They are for you to be mobile as we are now in the campaign season. They are not for personal business. So let us all ensure that we win this year’s elections,” she said.
The hand over of the vehicles comes after the revolutionary party launched its election manifesto last Friday, marking the beginning of the campaign process ahead of the country’s harmonised elections set for either July or August.
The ruling party has also held its primary elections to choose candidates who will represent Zanu PF in the elections for senatorial, national assembly, provincial council and local authority seats.
