The lady is mine . . . no, she is not yours!
A man from Tsholotsho became a spectacle of shame after his friend pummelled him at his homestead over a bootylici0us woman they both claimed to be theirs.
The incident happened last week on Saturday at Magotsha Line, Matabeleland North province.
Knowledge Ndlovu and Ndabezinhle Bhebhe had been drinking together and trouble started after the latter invited a curvy woman (name not supplied) to relax with them. It is said Bhebhe, who had a lot of money on the day in question “spoilt” the woman buying her beer.
Trouble started when Bhebhe asked the woman in questiom to accompany him to his homestead at Magotsha Line.
It said Ndlovu claimed he was in love with the lady in question. But that did not go down well with Bhebhe who said Ndlovu could not claim to be in love with the lady in question while he had watched him buy the woman beer.
An argument arose between the two, but Bhebhe ignored Ndlovu and went away with the woman.
The court heard when Bhebhe was done with the woman he confronted Ndlovu at his homestead. He accused him of claiming to be in love with the woman in question.
An argument once again arose and at the height of it Bhebhe allegedly turned Ndlovu into a punching bag in full view of neighbours. It took the intervention of the neighbours to save Ndlovu.
Ndlovu was rushed to hospital and the matter was reported to police. A medical report was produced in court as exhibit.
Bhebhe appeared before Tsholotsho resident magistrate Victor Mpofu facing assault charges and he was remanded out of custody to 4 September.
