An inferno razed down a building complex in Kadoma housing three retail chain stores last night.
The ferocious fire reduced the building complex housing clothing retail shops, Edgars and Jet Stores, two subsidiary companies from one group, and furniture dealer shop, Coloursel.
Nothing was salvaged from the clothing retail shops while a little paraphernalia was saved from Coloursel.
Witnesses said they suspect an electrical fault as the cause of the fire.
The fire brigade is said to have attended the scene timeously but was ill prepared for the task before them.

The scene was this morning cordoned off to allow forensic experts burrow through rubble and identify the cause of the fire.
