BUSINESS came to a standstill Thursday last week in the capital when a stray baboon was spotted at corner Central Avenue and Fifth Street.
Scores of people gathered around the place with some taking photographs and videos.
Several theories were thrown with some saying the baboon was found in one of the flats around the area.
The baboon was also said to be linked to juju use.
However National Parks officials dismissed the theories.
“This baboon was missing since morning and we were even looking for it. It came from the Alexandra Park area.
“Vanhu vanongofunga zvemushonga and that’s why they think kuti ndezvemushonga.
“It has nothing do with it ringori gudo rakangofambawo rikauya kuno,” he said.
The National Parks officials rescued the baboon back to its place.
