Chabvondoka: Zimra workers join #Shutdown Zimbabwe as economic hardships bite harder (FULL STATEMENT)

THE Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA)’ s operations countrywide have been put in limbo after its workers decided to down tools and embark on a strike until their demands are met.

In an official letter doing rounds on social media, the workers cite the rampant inflation in the market and how their salaries are no longer enough to meet their busfare needs.

They also cite the fuel increase announced by President Mnangagwa on Saturday as having contributed to erosion of their incomes as they cannot travel to and from work.
