Mnangagwa’s 4-nation tour to Eurasian countries discussed in Cabinet


The successful 4-nation tour to Eurasian countries headlined the 13th cabinet sitting held at Munhumutapa Offices in Harare yesterday.

The 13th cabinet sitting saw the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade appraising cabinet members on the successful tour to four Eurasian countries by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Cde Monica Mutsvangwa briefed the media after the sitting.

Minister Mutsvangwa revealed that councils between each country will be established to strengthen business relations.

Finance and Economic Development Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube led a delegation to the just ended World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and revealed that Zimbabwe “was the best buy from Africa”.

A cabinet decision to establish a committee that will look into the extent of losses resulting from the violent protests which took place two weeks ago was also taken.

Mass public transport system is expected to get a major boost with the offer of 500 buses by Belarus which the government is looking to expedite.
