AFTER more than 10 years together, it is officially over between child stars, Hulisani "CC" Ravele and Sipho "Psyfo" Ngwenya.
The couple, who have kept their relationship low key for many years, started dating back in their YoTV presenting days on SABC1. Many were crossing fingers that they would one day walk down the aisle, but with news of their break up, this will not be happening.
NO MORE PICTURES
Rumours of their split started earlier this year when the pair posted less and less of each other on social media. Then Psyfo raised eyebrows when he posted a picture of himself on Instagram with his friends on his birthday, but Hulisani was nowhere to be found.
This came as a surprise as back in 2012, Hulisani surprised Psyfo on his 30th birthday with tickets to London, just so he could watch his favourite football team, Chelsea, play.
Causing more speculation to grow, in August this year, Psyfo put a long heartfelt post on Instagram about rejection, failure and heartbreak.
In the post, he said, "In business, relationships and even in your friendships you get rejected, it’s really how you deal with it that matters."
Referring to heartbreak, the post read "that s#*t will come from nowhere and bam all of a sudden s#*t ain’t the same no more! It really is how you decide to roll with the punches."
The post has since been deleted. It is alleged that Psyfo might have moved on and possibly has a new woman in his life. He has been spotted a few times with another woman, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Pictures of Psyfo and this woman have been making the rounds on the internet.
Recently there were also rumours alleging that the two broke up after a sextape of Hulisani reportedly feasting on another actor's penis leaked. It is reported that Psyfo had for some time been suspecting that his lover was cheating on him with a close friend who is an actor in a prominent local soapie.
Other than YoTV, Psyfo has also had roles in TV dramas such as Generations, where he played Ajax from 2006 to 2010. The 35-year-old music producer has worked with legends such as Lebo Mathosa and Mandoza.
Hulisani, on the other hand, is a voice over artist and radio presenter on Capricorn FM. The 29-year-old recently graduated with an Honours in Motion Picture Medium (cum laude).
When contacted regarding the break up, Psyfo politely declined to comment on the matter saying, "I don’t want to talk about it because it is a personal matter."
We were unable to reach Hulisani at the time of going to print.
