I want to see my wife & children I beg you, please don’t kill me: Angolan man cries in Harare CBD

Angolan man gets spiritual attack on way to seek help

An Angolan national yesterday got a hysterical attack while on his way to get help from prophets in the country.

Francisco Antonio Baptista, 43, was seen at Corner Kwame Nkrumah and First street milling around with his two travelling bags before proceeding to Corner Leopold Takawira and Nelson Mandela.

His conduct raised suspicion of the onlookers who described him as someone who was bewitched for stealing but it went on to be proved that it was his baggage and he got spiritually attacked while on his way to get help.

“As I was walking by, I saw him moving round his bags. I watched him for over an hour before I called this publication to come and witness.

“I assumed he stole those bags that is why he is acting in that manner,” said a witness.

Baptista told H-Metro that he had come to seek help from a certain man of God but was not able to meet him.

“I came to visit a friend and seek help from a man of God. I just went to the church but did not meet him. I forgot the name of the church.

“Please don’t kill me I want to go to my country. I have a family. I want to see my wife and children I beg you please.

“I pray every day, these are my goods I did not steal from anyone I just want to go home,” said Baptista.

He was taken to Harare Central Police Station by some of the onlookers.
