Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has been flown to India for treatment after his health deteriorated, according to a report.
Chiwenga has been in and out of hospital over the past months since an explosion at a ZANU PF rally in 2018 which killed two security agents and injured scores of people. In a post on Twitter, ZimLive reported:
Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has been flown to India for treatment after his health deteriorated. The 62-year-old was treated in New Delhi for 2 weeks in February this year for what the government described as a “minor abdominal ailment”.
