0

Former deputy minister of Finance and avowed supporter of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Terrence Mukupe has fired a broadside at Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube for his failure to give workers a decent wage which allows them to have a dignified standard of living.

Ncube who has been constantly harping on about having a budget deficit was told that it does not mean anything to have a surplus when workers do not earn a decent wage.

Writing on social media, Mukupe said,

"Fiscal surpluses are good if the wages do afford a dignified standard of living. Just had a high ranking service official in tears, showing me his gross salary of $430 netting $380.. It's criminal! Professor let's take better care of those that brought about the 2nd republic.."
