Satan aribho, anotondifurira: Beverly Sibanda boasts live on Radio

Controversial dancer Beverly Sibanda claimed during a heated exchange with Star FM Radio listeners on Tuesday night that she had no problem with Satan.

After being attacked left, right and centre during the phone-in programme by listeners who described her dancing career as immoral, Bev lost her temper and praised the devil as she sought to get under the skin of her attackers.

"I have an I-don't-care attitude. Satan ari bho manje and anotondifurira (Satan is okay to me and he is the one who makes me tick)," she said.

"Hapana anoziva Mwari pasi pano. Munhu wese mutadzi. (None of us is perfect before God as we are all sinners).

Bev, whose real name was recently uncovered in court as Lizzy Junior Zinhu, insisted that she would not quit stripping despite almost all the callers describing her career as ungodly.

The popular dancer, who revealed that she grew up as an orphan, said love for her son spurs her on despite always battling against adversity perpetrated by moralists.

"I am not going to stop dancing in bars because that is my talent. The main reason why I dance in bars is to get money to raise my child".

Bev was dragged to court last week after she breached some of the sections of her stage licence which prohibit her from coming into contact with patrons while on stage but the dancer claims the incident had not rattled her.

She told listeners that she did not regret the fact that she has been arrested several times.

"Pane mupurisa ndopane mari (crime pays)" she said.

Bev's stunning revelations come barely two months after she quit Walter Magaya's Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries and a boutique that the church had set up for her.

"I am working tirelessly to open my own shop because the church-donated business generated a lot of controversy," she said.
