Former South African President, Thabo Mbeki says disputes among political players should be handled by relevant institutions such as courts and called on all political players to put their people first.
Mbeki was speaking after a two-hour meeting with President Emmerson Mnangagwa at state house in Harare today.
The former South African President said he came to Harare to get to understand the developments in the country after the ushering in of the second republic and is satisfied with the brief he got from President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
In response, President Mnangagwa said he is happy to have held discussions with former president Mbeki as their comradeship dates back to the days of the liberation struggles of both Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Mbeki also said he has fulfilled his visit to come and have first-hand information following the visit by other statesmen who include former South African presidents Kgalema Motlanthe and Jacob Zuma as well as the sitting president Cyril Ramaphosa.
