Famed Nigerian preacher, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as TB Joshua’s credibility could be on the line, as he predicted that the novel coronavirus could be coming to an end on Friday, yet no vaccine or cure is in sight.
TB Joshua, leader of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, told congregants on March 15 that the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, will go away by itself on March 27.
“I came out at the beginning of this year saying last year will end in March and the year will continue to be very fearful till this month [March].
“This month, 27th, it will be over. By the end of this month, whether we like it or not – no matter the medicine they might have produced to cure whatever, it will go the way it came.
Ironically, TB Joshua cancelled his Sunday service at his church thanks to the coronavirus.
In defense, Prophet T.B. Joshua has come out to tell the public that what he meant was spiritual, not physical.
According to him, men of today lack understanding and it clearly shows how people perceived his revelation. He said “I meant coronavirus would vanish spiritually the same way it came. As I speak, the virus is no more in the spirit realm.”
Interestingly, prophet TB Joshua breathed fire at people who accused him of making a false prophecy.
“I didn’t specify so why would people conclude I meant physically. Men of today lack understanding. Instead of taking time to understand the context in which something was said, they are always quick to judge [me],” he stated.
