A RUGARE elderly woman has put her vicious dog on sale to save food and other expenses during the national lockdown.
Gogo Hwedza spent the better of yesterday sitting by the roadside displaying her eight months old dog she said has put her off budget.
“I have decided to put my dog on sale because I am losing both food and money during this lockdown,” said Gogo Hwedza.
“It escaped from the leash maybe because I starved it the whole day without feeding it and it became angry that it wanted to bite me.
“It is eight months old and I am selling it for US$80.
“Besides sharing food with it, the dog is so vicious that I have paid medical expenses to several neighbours after it went after them although it was vaccinated,” she said pleading with the writer to buy it if the lockdown is to continue.
“Inopera rinhiko nhai lockdown yacho ndimi murikunhau kana ichirikure nditengese imbwa iyi ndiwane mari yekutengera vazukuru chekudya,” she said sitting by the side of her neighbour who was selling vegetables.
