Mutendi under fire for behaving like Zanu PF bigwig, Bishop who predicted Mugabe’s ouster warns him

Fearless cleric, Bishop Ancelimo Magaya has said church leaders should not be used by Zanu PF to advance its evil machinations.

Bishop Magaya rebuked Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi and Prophet Andrew Wutawunashe for purporting to speak on behalf of the church.

Below is Bishop Magaya’s statement:

It is tragic when church leaders pontificate with no aorta of biblical references.

Hearing Wutaunashe and Mutendi speaking on ZBC in defense of the government, you would think you are hearing political commissars.

They would rather disassociate with the church and cling to evil doers.

“And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible…they strengthen the hands of evil doers so that no one of them repents from wickedness…”(Jer 23 vs14).

It is not surprising when today you hear church leaders like Wutaunashe speaking as surrogates of ED.

In 2016, Magaya predicted the fall of late President Robert Mugabe, who was later ousted 2017 by his deputy, Mnangagwa using the military.

“On 28 June 2016, I addressed the press at Media Centre and I warned the nation that the people who were committing violence were not safe.

“I said Jonathan Moyo (then cabinet minister and Zanu PF strategist), the promulgator of the notorious legislation, in as much as he is in parliament or even if he is a minister, he was not safe.

“I said sooner rather than later he will be a victim.

“I also said Kasukuwere is not safe. I then said, even President Robert Mugabe is not safe.”

Moyo and Kasukuwere, once Mnangagwa’s Zanu PF rivals, were hounded into exile by the State.
