PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa says he is deeply shocked by recent reports of terrorist activity in Mozambique.

Writing on his twitter account, President Mnangagwa said these acts of barbarism must be stamped out wherever they are found.

“I am deeply shocked by recent reports of terrorist activity in Mozambique. These acts of barbarity must be stamped out wherever they are found,” he said.

Turning to security issues the President placed emphasis on the security of citizens adding that Zimbabwe is ready to assist in any way it can.

“Zimbabwe is ready to assist in any way we can. The security of our region is paramount in the protection of our people,” he added.
