A Grade 1 pupil at Helen McGhee Primary School was yesterday warned and cautioned at Ok Supermarket after he was caught with cond0ms he had stolen from the shop.
The boy mistook the cond0ms for some sweets.
The mother of the boy noticed that her son was holding something in his hand as she got to the security guards at the exit door. It was realised that it was a packet of cond0ms and guards made further searches only to find more cond0m packets in his pockets.
When quizzed, the boy said he mistook the cond0ms for sweets.
The Mirror arrived at the supermarket as the boy and the mother were talking to the security at the back office of the supermarket.
Ok management declined to comment.
“A boy who was accompanied by his mother took packets of Durex cond0ms and put some in his pockets. The mother realised after she had paid for her goods at the till that her child was holding something,” said a source.
