A woman in the UK allegedly stabbed her mother to death.
After the 39-year-old hacked the body, she got rid of the body parts, including the head, by dumping them next to a river.
As if this wasn’t shocking enough, all this happened just hours after she allegedly tried to kill her brother in a fire.
A court in Shropshire heard the daughter then used her 65-year-old mother’s bank card to buy food and whisky.
Cops discovered the mother’s head in a plastic bag four weeks later, before finding her other body parts scattered around the area in bins.
The daughter was charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life after admitting to the crimes when she was arrested.
According to The Daily Mail, the Stafford Crown Court was told she was unfit to be tried.
There will now be no trial and it will now be a fact-finding hearing after the woman’s confession, where the jury will only have to decide what the person did but not the motive or their state of mind at the time.
As a result, she now cannot be found guilty of murder and arson, but after the jury’s verdict, the judge could decide that the suspect should go to a hospital indefinitely in a judgment known as disposal.
