Masked gunmen raid 3 houses, get away with US$4 215, four cellphones, leather jacket and car keys

A gang estimated at seven robbers caused mayhem in Victoria Ranch in Masvingo on September, 21, 2021, when they ransacked two houses and escaped with cash totaling US$4 215.

They also broke into a house in Runyararo West and in addition to cash they got away with four cellphones, a leather jacket and car keys.

Those who fell prey to the robbers are Tauya Tomukai (36) and Ishmael Mutonga (39) of Vic Ranch and Haward Sithole (34) from Runyararo West.

Masvingo acting Police spokesperson, Lloyd Masundire confirmed the case to The Mirror.

Police reports indicate that the robbers hit the first house at 12 midnight, the second at 130am and the third at 220am.

The masked robbers were armed with two pistols, sjamboks and iron bars.
