A 24-YEAR-OLD man from Magulanjengwa Line in Tsholotsho, Matabeleland North Province learnt the hard way that not all gogos are an easy target for se_xual abuse when a 69-year-old granny violently grabbed his balls and repeatedly squeezed them very hard after he allegedly tried to rape her.
Clive Nkomo was given a lesson he will never forget, when the elderly woman got a firm grip of his balls and squeezed them.
Allegations are that on 8 May 2021 and at around 8pm, Nkomo entered the elderly woman’s bedroom hut and demanded to have se_x with her. The elderly woman reportedly refused before Nkomo forcibly tried to undress her.
The woman reportedly wrestled with Nkomo and during the struggle, the brave granny grabbed his geni_tals and squeezed them hard and he screamed for help.
Fearing that her attacker would die, the elderly woman released her grip and stepped back. After heaving a sigh of relief, a seemingly se_xually frustrated Nkomo hit the elderly with a brick on the head before taking her radio and running away. Nkomo, who was on the run since that incident, was arrested on 13 September 2021.
He has since appeared before Tsholotsho resident magistrate Victor Mpofu charged with attempted rape as defined in Section 189 as read with Section 65 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23.
He was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody.
