MDC A president Nelson Chamisa today attended the stone unveiling ceremony for his late mother Alice Chamisa who collapsed and died in her garden in July 2020

The ceremony took place at his parents’ rural home in Chikwati Village under Chief Chiwara in Gutu.

Party supporters, villagers and the general public were astounded by the stonework on the grave. His mother’s picture is engraved on the stonework. At the top of the stonework is a bible and on either sides are verses from the bible.

Chamisa told the gathering that the stonework and all the work on the grave was a donation from Ngoda Granite.

The ceremony was led by Bishop Peter Makamba, the church which Chamisa’s family goes to.
