Davison Maguraushe is a troubled man because his baby mama frequents his home to shout at him for failing to give her money for the upkeep of his child.
Davison said his baby mama, Sibongile Moyo, was giving him sleepless nights because she always sends him text messages asking for money for the upkeep of the two-year-old child he sired with her.
He said what surprises him is that a few days after giving her money she would call asking for more money.
And she was in the habit of frequenting his home to demand money and most of the times she would be drunk and would shout obscenities at him and his wife.
Davison said her wayward behaviour had caused cracks in his marriage. The troubled Davison claimed that he was involved in a scuffle with her and she stoned the rear-view mirror of his car.
Unlike other men, who suffer in silence when they are subjected to either physical, verbal or emotional abuse, Davison reported the matter at Western Commonage court.
“My name is Davison Maguraushe. I have a two-year-old child with Sibongile Moyo. I give her money for the upkeep of the child but shockingly after a few days she would come to my place fuming and asking for more money. And most of the times she would be drunk.
She would hurl insults at me and would say I spend the money with my wife and I am neglecting the child. Her unbecoming behaviour has caused a rift in our marriage. I therefore apply for a peace order against her,” he said.
The presiding magistrate Jeconia Prince Ncube granted Davison a protection order against his baby mama. Sibongile was ordered to refrain from visiting Davison and was ordered to stop emotionally and verbally abusing him.
