LATEST: 56-year-old woman in hot soup after being found with 143 mbanje plants in her garden


Police in Manicaland yesterday arrested a 56-year-old Chipinge woman for illegally growing mbanje in her garden.

Arairwai Chikunga of Hanganyai Village, Chief Mutema was arrested after a tip off and police laid an ambush and took pictures of the accused dwarfed by 1,8m tall mbanje plants growing in her garden.

Chipinge Times is told that cops discovered 143 plants with a street value of US$2 000.
Manicaland Acting Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the case to Chipinge Times.

Chikunga was supposed to appear in court yesterday.

PLEASE…PLEASE…PLEASE…PLEASE..!!! .do not cut down her plants….just ask her to get the license/permission.

We read in the Tabloids before, that someone ,a Zimbabwean, build a mansion/structure in Borrowdale without permission and it was destroyed. A Chinese national did the same, in the same area but was allowed to get the permission post-construction, rather than being destroyed.

This disease in Zimbabwe, in Africa, must be cured now..
