Popular Masvingo poet, Abel Mauchi is admitted at Masvingo Provincial Hospital after he collapsed on Wednesday, The Mirror has learnt.
He collapsed in Masvingo on his way to a bank from his rural home in Gutu.
His family is appealing to well wishers for US$70 for further tests to be carried on him, budding Masvingo poet and spoken word artist Ngoni Paradzahova told The Mirror.
“Mauchi could not talk on Wednesday but the situation is much better today,” said Paradzahova.
Paradza also said that Mauchi has not been feeling well for sometime and has been constantly in and out of hospital.
