HARARE-BRED rapper, Tinashe Ncube, is desperately in need of help.
The 22-year-old has since released a track titled ‘‘Save Me’’ highlighting his pain and opened up about the negative thoughts which keep haunting him.
“Have you ever felt like you don’t know what’s going on anymore, like you don’t care about anything anymore?
“Like you have lost your motivation to do anything else besides giving up on everything. You’re confused about your feelings and you don’t know how to explain how you feel.
“You have the feeling of emptiness and you feel like no one is there for you.
“The feeling that no one understands you anymore. And you feel like you have got nothing left to live for anymore.
“This is how I feel all the time and I can’t keep up to anyone’s expectations, my anxiety is through the roof,” he said.
He added: “Love, friendships, all mean nothing to me because I find it hard to trust anyone. I get the feeling that they hate me or don’t want me around anymore.
“Even if they say they love me, I still find it hard to believe and all I want to do is escape.
“I have been like this since I was young. I’ve self-harmed before due to some reasons I don’t know. I know I have been a burden to my parents and to my siblings.
“My lack of trust almost cost me the only person that ever cared for me and that’s my half-sister, she was going through the same and she told me about it but I did not believe her.
“She wanted me by her side at the time but I wasn’t there for her when she needed me the most.
“She fought that battle alone until she managed to get her rap_ists behind bars,” said Tinashe.
Tinashe said he could have committed suicide but music has come as a pain-killer in his life.
“It’s sad really because the only reason I haven’t killed myself yet is I don’t want to hurt anyone. I can only express my pain through music, I can only be comforted by my music, it’s the only language that I speak,” he said.
Tinashe began his musical journey in 2014 and has been on the Skyz Metro FM Top 20 chart topper from 2018 to 2019 and dominated charts on Khulumani FM from 2018 to 2019.
