2 brothers torment father, sell his household property and treat him like an outcast

A HARARE man has approached the courts accusing his two sons of conniving to sell his household property to buy drugs.

Fibion Chakonza (54) claims his sons, Kudakwashe and Webster, have been disturbing his mental health and treating him like an outcast.

He made the claims when he was seeking a protection order against the two at the Civil Court.

“Kudakwashe has been bringing different girls into my house and while they are there, they do nasty stuff, smoking and consuming alcohol.

“I have tried so many times to send him away, but he refuses,” said Chakonza.

He alleged that one of his sons tried to evict him from his property last year.

Both Chakonza’s sons were in default.

Presiding over the hearing, magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted a default protection order in favour of Chakonza.

She ordered the two to stop physically, mentally or emotionally abusing their father.
