A husband who had shacked up with his girlfriend for two days kicked and punched his wife after she confronted him at his lover’s house.
The drama-filled incident happened in Old Pumula suburb and lasted for about ten minutes.
A source close to the incident said Kindness Ndlovu (28) got worried after realising that her husband Takaidza Moyo (32) had not come home for two days.
Her husband’s close friend snitched on him and told her that her husband was at Lorraine’s house.
“He gave her the address and she went there.
She found her husband with his lover in a room,” said a source.
An altercation broke out as fuming Kindness tried to drag her husband out of the room.
Lorraine hurled insults at her while trying to pull Takaidza back.
Takaidza punched his wife several times in the face and kicked her all over the body.
She sustained a swollen face and bled.
She rushed to a police station and reported the matter.
Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident and urged couples to engage third parties whenever they are faced with a dispute.
He said: “Resorting to fighting or violence does not solve any domestic problem but engaging relatives, friends, pastors, counselors or police could help in finding an amicable solution to a dispute.”
