Russia has offered a safe passage to Zimbabwean citizens who want to be evacuated from Ukraine in light of the ongoing special military operation.

In a statement released today, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Zimbabwe said that it had established a hot line for solving humanitarian issues and evacuating foreign citizens.

“In the context of the special military operation in Ukraine the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation established hot line for solving humanitarian issues including foreign citizens’ appeals for evacuation,” reads the statement.
