A LOCAL pastor has been summoned to court facing allegations of threatening to kill a woman who exposed his shenanigans.
Fungai Muzuva is the complainant in the case against Newlife Kamushini.
Muzuva claims she is now living in fear after Kamushini, a pastor, accused her of exposing his affairs to his wife.
In her affidavit, Muzuva claims the church leader rents an apartment in Greendale, for his mysterious lover.
Muzuva and the mysterious lover share the same apartment.
“He has been insulting, and assaulting me, and calling me names after his wife discovered his relationship with my roommate.
“He thinks I am the one who told his wife and feels I am jealous of their relationship.
“He told me to look for a boyfriend of my own and leave him to enjoy his affair,” claimed Muzuva.
She also claimed she has suffered quite a lot at the hands of the pastor.
“At one point, he punched me on my left eye, when l went for treatment the X-rays showed the eye required a CT scan.
“Every time that he visits, he issues threats of violence and unspecified action to end my life.
“I am now living in fear of him.”
Muzuva wants the court to protect her through barring Kamushini from insulting and hurting her.
The hearing of the matter has been set for March 22 at the Harare Civil Court.
