INCARCERATED dancehall chanter, Joseph ‘Chigudo Chihomu Homu’ Mutamba, seems to be settling well in prison.
Chigudo (30), who is serving nine years at Chikurubi Maximum Prison for rape, is set to record a new song tomorrow.
He told H-Metro the studio was coming to Chikurubi tomorrow.
“Yes, the unfortunate incident happened but life moves on,” he said.
“I have managed to assist the prison choir and it has helped me spiritually because most of our songs are gospel.
“Just because I am in prison does not stop me from entertaining my fans, I am even starting my recordings tomorrow here in prison.
“I hope I will not disappoint my fans.”
He said he has come to realise what is legal and what is not.
“You know when we are out there, we do a lot of activities not knowing they are illegal.
“I now know what’s legal and what’s not,” he said.
