A NORTON man lost his car to robbers along Bulawayo Road as he had parked the car to relieve himself, a Harare court heard over the weekend.
He was allegedly assaulted by Albert Achikuse, 25, and his companions, who are on the run.
Achikuse was not asked to plead when he appeared before Harare magistrate Yeukai Dzuda, who remanded him in custody to May 8.
The court heard that on April 21, at around 9pm, the complainant, Kudakwashe Toro, was driving along Bulawayo Road and stopped opposite Family 24, to relieve himself.
Achikuse, and two accomplices, who are still at large, approached him and assaulted him using metal objects.
They forcibly took his car and drove away.
Toro sustained severe injuries.
Anesu Chirenje appeared for the State.
