A HARARE man had his application for a protection order dismissed after the court found out that he sought to dodge his girlfriend’s preg_nancy.
The matter was revealed after Tinotenda Kaswaire opposed Innocent Rwivha’s claims at the Harare Civil Court.
Kaswaire had told the court that her boyfriend was lying as she was not a violent person.
She also claimed Rwivha wanted to deceive the court and use the protection order to stop her from asking for money to register the preg_nancy at a local clinic.
“I am shocked that he is claiming that I am abusive towards him yet I begged him to be a responsible man and contribute something towards the upkeep of the unborn baby.
“He had chased me away from our matrimonial home.
“He was not taking my calls and I have been going to his house asking for the money to register the preg_nancy,” said Kaswaire.
However, Rwivha argued he was suffering at the hands of Kaswaire.
“AII I need is peace, I will support her, but not under my roof.
“I want her banned from my house and I will send groceries to her mother’s house,” he said.
Magistrate Sharon Mashavire dismissed the matter noting that Murama’s application was an abuse of the court process.
