Weird, weird world!
A 17-year-old Chipinge boy was struck and killed on Saturday with a log after being accused of f0ndling a 14-year-old girl’s brea_sts.
The incident happened at Chidzvururwi Village under Chief Musikavanhu in Chipinge.
Manicaland Provincial Police spokesperson Inspector Nobert Muzondo confirmed the incident and said police have since arrested Bornface Madhumbu (39).
Allegations are that Kudakwashe Nyamunda was struck with a log by Madhumbu of the same village for f0ndling the latter’s niece’s brea_sts.
On Saturday at around 5pm, Madhumbu’s niece who cannot be named because of her age (14) told Madhumbu that Nyamunda had f0ndled her brea_sts on her way from the borehole.
Madhumbu went to look for Nyamunda and found him at his uncle Munoonei Muyambo’s place in the same village. He struck him once with a log on the head. Nyamunda escaped and ran away and Madhumbu returned to his homestead.
At 11am the following morning, Muyambo discovered Nyamunda’s body lying lifeless in a bush about 100 metres from his homestead.
Muyambo alerted the village head Partson Muyambo who made a police report leading to the arrest of Madhumbu. Nyamunda’s body was taken to St Peters Mission Hospital for postmortem.
