SOCIALITE and comedienne, Mai TT, yesterday lashed at a businesswoman for not reporting the video of a minor holding her lover’s manhood.
Mai TT caused a stir at Natalie Taruvinga’s apartment in the Avenues area of Harare demanding to know why she kept the video on her mobile phone without lodging a police report against her lover, Munyaradzi Chauraya (39).
A sobbing Natalie, told H-Metro she was allegedly threatened with a gun by Chauraya if she disclosed the existence of the video.
“I was physically abused by Munyaradzi and he is the one who sent the video of the minor holding his manhood to my cellphone,” said Natalie.
“He came to my place of residence to assault me after I decided to dump him following the abuse he subjected me to.
“I kept the video and one of my sisters discovered the video and informed other relatives about it.
“Munyaradzi has been abusing me physically and all the cases I reported were in vain as he brags of being connected to law enforcement agencies.
“I also wish for justice to prevail.”
Mai TT called Chauraya threatening to deal with him.
“I want to see you over disorderly conduct of abusing a minor the way you did,” said Mai TT.
“I was informed that you operate near the Main Post Office and I will come and undress you over such diabolical conduct.
“If you continue defeating the course of justice, by using tattoos, as a way to fool the courts, honestly, I will deal with you,” she said.
Mai TT wanted Natalie arrested for her failure to expose Munyaradzi.
“Children come first and lovers or husbands do not matter when it comes to our kids.
“Your failure to expose this shows that you support your lover and that you have to face the full wrath of the law,” said Mai TT.
The incident drew the attention of residents at Rembrandt Flat along Josiah Chinamano Avenue.
