A HARARE man claims his estranged wife is using a peace order to push him out of their matrimonial home.

Bonasi Nhakaniso (69), who was formerly married to Rose, nee Makuyana, alleges he has not known peace for more than half-a-decade now.

“I have experienced the worst at the hands of my so-called wife.

“I was arrested on 20 May for contempt of court after I asked for money from cottage tenants at my Borrowdale place.

“She quickly called the police that I was breaching court orders yet I wanted to send the money to my sick mother,” Bonasi said.

He said his estranged wife filed for divorce after allegations of infidelity.

“Filing of divorce papers was done hurriedly because I know for one reason my wife wanted to get the house,” Bonasi said.

He said many people around him, including his children, were taking advantage of his ‘condition’.

He revealed he visited many apostolic prophets where he found deliverance from the spirits which had attacked him.

One of his sons, Takudzwanashe Nhakaniso, 21, confirmed his father later found deliverance.

He said his father has faced all forms of abuse from his mother.

“Mum throws away my father’s belongings, restraining him from going upstairs.

“I have never seen her showing any form of respect, or love, she always scolds him,” Takudzwanashe said.

Contacted for comment, Rose said she did not want anything to do with the story and hung up.

“I don’t want to talk to anyone from H-Metro, go ahead and do the story,” she said.
