PROPHET Passion Java yesterday sent his condolences to the family of the woman killed along Seke Road on Tuesday in a road accident.
His driver hit and killed the expecting mother, Joyce Tandi, who died on the spot.
She was just 17.
In a statement, Passion said he was not in the car when the accident happened, as he had just landed in Zimbabwe.
Below reads the statement:
“The woman deceased could be my sister, wife or my mother.
“Painful, painful, painful it is.
“Although I was not there at the scene, the driver works for me and is acutely traumatised.
“As of now, I cannot explain the accident as it is still under police investigation,” he said.
Passion said he sympathised with the family and asked that people respect them during this difficult moment.
“However, we must all respect the deceased and her loved ones by being loving and human as we post comments.
“Death is no joke and nothing to gain social media stats from,” he wrote.
Passion offered to pay for the deceased’s kids’ school fees if she had any children.
“I extend my plea to sympathise with her family and the honour of giving her kids scholarships, if she left any.
“I am still (recovering) from the whole ordeal but I send my impassioned message to the bereaved.
“May Her soul rest in peace.”
