A Bulawayo man has been arrested following an alleged road rage incident that saw him shooting at a motorist who had flashed his headlights at him.

Innocent Siziba (48) and two passengers were travelling in his Honda Fit vehicle along Matopos Road heading to the city centre and as they approached Famona suburb, Siziba is said to have flashed his car headlights at a car that was going in the opposite direction.

The driver of the other car, named Shayne Anthony, angry at being flashed, deliberately blocked Siziba’s way, forcing Siziba to stop.

Anthony quickly jumped out of his car, pulled out a gun and shot at the driver’s side window. The bullet missed Siziba but destroyed the driver’s and front passenger windows.

Siziba’s pals plucked up courage and grabbed Anthony before calling Hillside police who quickly came to the scene and arrested him.
