JOHANNE the 5th of Africa International Apostolic Church Archbishop, Andby Makururu, who prophesied President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s victory in 2018, has prophesied that the development-oriented leader will win the next elections.
Madzibaba Andby who revealed heightened efforts by the country’s detractors to inflict regime change ahead of next year’s elections, made public his election victory prophecy for President Mnangagwa and the ruling party at his church’s annual gathering held in Mutare this Saturday.
“I once prophesied victory for President Mnangagwa in 2018. God said President Mnangagwa will win the next elections despite pressure from regime change elements. God has instructed us to vote for President Mnangagwa.
“Our MPs, Ministers and councilors are instructed to unite in order to defeat the enemy. The ruling party will continue to be in power as it liberated the country. I have seen someone who wants to fight our leadership but the President is going to be victorious, he said.
Archbishop Makururu also prophesied a turn around of the Zimbabwean economy starting 2024 hence the need for people to unite in defence of the revolutionary movement that liberated the country.
“I have been shown 1 800 litre white buckets full of honey another 1 800 litre full of milk. In the year 2024 going forward, the economy will flourish. If you unite with your government you will live a happy life. What is now needed is for you to unite in support of the leadership, he said.
Zanu PF Political Commissar, Cde Mike Bimha, who was representing President Mnangagwa at the church’s annual gathering, said government is grateful for the support from the church, imploring the church to continue praying for the nation and vote for the ruling party during next year’s elections.
“I want to thank you for praying for the country that has resulted in the progress we witness here. The country is looking forward to prospering with the availability of oil and gas. I am happy to hear that the Archbishop is urging you to pray for the country. There are people who want to inflict regime change. We urge you to pray for us and defend our hard-won independence. There are people who forget that the country has people who sacrificed their lives for it. I implore you to vote for us next year,” said Cde Bimha.
Manicaland Minister of State and Devolution, Cde Nokuthula Matsikenyere, added her voice on the importance of complimenting government efforts to see a prosperous country.
“We are happy that you are fighting child s3_xual exploitation and you have embraced the country’s health guidelines. We are happy as government to work closely with you to ensure national development,” she noted.
