A NINE-YEAR-OLD Nyanga boy died after he was trapped by an ox-drawn cart after it overturned last week on Saturday.
Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Norbert Muzondo confirmed the incident which happened in Sanyadowa Village in Chief Saunyama’s area.
“Goodwell Samunda boarded an ox-drawn cart together while Fidelis Masunungure was leading the cart. Upon approaching a Y-junction near the irrigation area, Masunungure failed to control the cart. It overturned and trapped Samunda. He died on the spot,” said inspector Muzondo.
No foul play is suspected.
