The four had illegally occupied Morning Star Farm, Raffingora, in Zvimba North district.

Prosecuting, Odra Chitora, told the court that subdivision of Morning Star Farm was done in 2002 and gazetted by the Government of Zimbabwe.

The court heard that in 2003, the farm was allocated to Njodzi Machirori, who passed away in 2011.

Machirori left his wife, Tendai Bare, living on the land, but she was given a transfer letter to another farm in 2013.

Chitoro told the court that from 2014, to August 3, 2022, the quartet settled illegally on the farm, in contravention of the law.
